Introduction

Shimmer & Stone currently accepts three methods of payment.

Please Note: US and Canadian customers may select either of the three payment methods based on their preference, however all other international customers can only make payment through PayPal™ or via International Money Order.

Credit and debit cards

US and Canada Customers

Shimmer & Stone accepts the following major credit cards from customers in the continental United States and Canada:

  • VISA
  • MasterCard
  • American Express
  • Discover Card
  • Diners Club
  • JCB

Shimmer & Stone also accepts US and Canadian bank issued debit or bank cards with the following logos (debit cards are used just like credit cards when making payments online):

  • VISA
  • MasterCard

Customers can checkout using either direct Checkout or PayPal™, based on their personal preference. When you are ready to checkout, simply click on either of the following buttons in your shopping cart.

PayPal™

Shimmer & Stone has partnered with PayPal™ to offer our customers a new method of payment which can be used by all customers based in the US, Canada and from all other accepted countries.

PayPal™ allows you to use one of the following major credit cards:

  • VISA
  • MasterCard
  • American Express
  • Discover

PayPal™ also allows you to make payment using your own PayPal™ account balance or bank account. By using PayPal™ to checkout the merchant (Shimmer & Stone) does not have access to any of your financial information.

The Checkout Process through PayPal™

Checking out through PayPal™ is as simple as checking out directly through Shimmer & Stone. Firstly click the "Checkout with PayPal™" button in your shopping cart:

From the Shimmer & Stone shopping cart you will be taken to the Shimmer & Stone/PayPal page on the secured PayPal™ web site to enter your payment information (your credit card or PayPal™ account will not be charged until you SUBMIT YOUR ORDER at the end of the process).

You will then return to the Shimmer & Stone secured checkout to enter your shipping and contact information as well as being able to apply any discount codes or coupons that you may have.

PayPal Checkout

Finally you will have the chance to review and SUBMIT YOUR ORDER. You will then see your order confirmation number on screen and an automated email will be sent to your email address, which will confirm receipt of your order, detail your invoice and provide your with a link to view your order status.

Please note that some email accounts may SPAM block this confirmation email as it is automated, so please check your bulk-mail or spam folders.

Money Order

Shimmer & Stone also accepts payment via money orders from US, Canada and *International Money Orders for customers in the UK, EU and other listed countries.

*Please note that international money orders MUST BE in US funds (US dollars).

Mail Order Form

To make your purchase using a money order please send your payment along with a completed Mail-In Money Order Form.

Please fill out all the fields that apply to your order. If you are uncertain on how to calculate engraving charges or sales tax (only applicable to NY residents), please feel free to call customer service at 1 888 85 STONE (+1 212 564 9175 for Canada or International) or email us at info@shimmerandstone.com. We are here to assist you.

Please make sure that you provide a valid email address and telephone number with your order form, so we can contact you if there is an error or make a clarification about your order. If we are unable to contact you in reference to an issue your payment will be mailed back to the address provided on your mail-order form.

Sales Tax

Sales tax is only applicable for orders being shipped to residents in the state of New York. If your order is being shipped to another state or outside of the US sales tax does not apply to your order.

Sales tax is currently 8.875% and is applied to your order subtotal (before shipping charges if applicable)

Example:

Item A . . . $100.00
Item B . . . $210.00
Subtotal . . . $310.00 (Item A + Item B)
SALES TAX . . . $27.51 (Subtotal x 8.875%)
2-Day Shipping . . . $14.95
TOTAL = $352.46 (SUBTOTAL + SALES TAX + SHIPPING)

Sales tax, if applicable, will be automatically computed into your order total when checking out online. If your are paying via money order please use the above example to compute your sales tax or contact customer service for assistance at 1 888 85 STONE (Canada and International Customers please call +1 212 564 9175).
